Final day of the tour… I and some frens woke up at arround 6, be fresh and went out for morning jog. We spent some time in Pub area of the riverside and had breakfast there. We came back nearly after 1 and half hours. Frens were not ready yet. At around Devghat… pilgrimage spot situated at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Trisuli rivers. It lies just north of the jungle safari destination of Royal Chitwan National Park. Hindu devotees gather here to take holy dips in the river. There are a number of sacred and historical sites around Devghat... 

… woke up at around 5:00 with cock-a-doodle-do and became fresh and be ready for the excitement. We had breakfast and left the lodge at around 8:00. Sun was already out and spreading its power. After that we decided to go for elephant back excursion and went towards that. Traveling with elephant inside the jungle watching wildlife action was really a nice experience. We continued that safari nearly till 2 hrs. After that fun we came to hotel and had lunch. Actually we were not that much satisfied with hotel services so we left the hotel room before... 

Bad news! Not only tarai, some other districts (Dhading, Makawanpur…) were also on strike! because of those reasons it was nearly impossible to go through the highway taking the risk… so we changed the route… new way to reach our destination is from Dakshinkali – Sisneri – Kulekhani – Hetaunda then Chitwan, its was very short route but way was little difficult. Chitwan means the ‘Heart of the Jungle’ – One of the finest place to have fun & enjoy the life in a natural environment. That was a blasting end of the year 2063 BS & enjoyments were still remaining. After the picnic we went to Kirtipur (Shashi’s Home) & enjoyed the New Year Eve with Wine & Champagne. We woke up at around 6:30 and became fresh and be ready for the excitement. We left the lodge at 7:00, the sun was just rising and the valley below was covered in fog.
